The new academic year always brings new hope and excitement, as well.
The first day of this year did the same to me.
It was the ninth graders who I met that morning.
The spirit of young teenage was reflected by those eyes in front of me.
As it was our first day which was started with such an introduction between the teacher and her students, I asked them a very important (well...important...in my opinion..) question
"How would you like our class ?"
Soon, they mentioned a long list of "ideal class" they were dreaming of...lol...
fun--lots of jokes, lots of games
no homework
no test
allowed to sit beside anyone they like
allowed to chat
no angry teacher
easy to get good score
I smiled at them....okay, I agreed with them, i meant, if i had been students, I would have got the same ideas with them...
It was our first meeting, and I saw their excitement knowing I was aware of their "ideal class", so I did not intend to bother their good time.
So, I just said, "Okay, we'll see, how we can do that--your ideal class"......I smiled, and the clapped their hands...and the introduction session continued to made us closer till the bell rang....
